Electrical & Instrumentation Tech 1&2
The mission of this program is to provide coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the manufacturing career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employ-ability skills, technical skills and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the manufacturing career cluster.
Training includes but is not limited to communication skills, leadership skills, human relations and employability skills, safe and efficient work practices, and the technical training to support professional personnel in the engineering, design, development and evaluation of electrical and instrument systems
Students will be receive training in preparation for taking the MSSC Production Technician industry certification.
The State of Florida requires students to meet a basic skills requirement prior to program completion. The basic skills grade levels for this program are: Mathematics 11.0, Language 10.0, Reading 10.0
A student must have passed all required courses in the program, attend at least ninety percent (85%) of the class hours offered and satisfied all financial obligations before he/she is eligible to receive a certificate of completion for the program.
